What are the best tourist attractions in Dallas, TX?

12 21 2

Wondering what the best tourist attractions are in Dallas, TX? We asked our staff at Magnolia Hotels to chime in, and this is what we came up with:

  1. Klyde Warren Park

Address: 2012 Woodall Rodgers Fwy, Dallas, TX 75201

We love it because: It’s hands down the best park in Dallas. People go here to listen to live music, take a group fitness class, grab a bite to eat from a food truck, visit the dog park, play chess or ping pong, and so much more.

Cost: Free

  1. Dallas World Aquarium

Address: 1801 N Griffin St, Dallas, TX 75202

We love it because: It’s not just an aquarium, despite its name. It’s also a zoo with a wide array of animals from all over the world! The under-tank shark tunnel is pretty cool as well.

Cost: $14.95 – 20.95 + tax

  1. Dallas Symphony Orchestra at Meyerson Symphony Center

Address: 2301 Flora St, Dallas, TX 75201

We love it because: The performances will take your breath away every single time. We particularly love the holiday concerts and encourage people of all ages to attend.

  1. Nasher Sculpture Center

Address: 2001 Flora St, Dallas, TX 75201

We love it because: It’s a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of the city while enjoying art and sculptures both indoors and out. There’s also a lovely garden to sit in and relax.

  1. Dallas Museum of Art

Address: 1717 N Harwood StDallas, TX 75201-2398

We love it because: You don’t have to be a fan of art to enjoy this museum. Although the building may look small on the outside, you’d be surprised at how much you can see when you’re inside. It’s the perfect place to pop in for an hour or two before heading out to lunch or dinner.

Cost: Free

  1. The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza

Address: 411 Elm St, Dallas, TX 75202-3301

We love it because: It takes you through the life, death and legacy of President John F. Kennedy. You’ll walk out of this museum having a better understanding of that dreadful day in American history.

Cost: $16 for adults

  1. Reunion Tower

Address: 300 Reunion Blvd E Dallas, TX 75207

We love it because: You get to witness the most spectacular 360-degree views of the Dallas skyline from an observation deck 470 feet high in the sky.
