"If you're looking for a place where you can create a feeling of sumptuous luxury without breaking the bank, you couldn't find a better place than the Magnolia! We just had our wedding ceremony and reception at this wonderful hotel. We had about 155 guests for our ceremony followed by a lovely buffet dinner in the club - we used very minimal decoration to add our own style to an already lovely space! The social catering manager there, Kristina, is a phenomenal woman who not only held our hands as needed through the planning phase, but she was right by my side on my wedding day and throughout the reception, from getting the guest book I forgot in my suite to fixing my updo as it fell apart during the reception. Every single member of the staff was wonderfully helpful and the service was always prompt and friendly, no matter the size of the request. Our entire family commented on how wonderful their experiences had been for the whole wedding weekend - this hotel and its staff truly helped us have the wedding of our dreams. The food was delicious and reasonably priced for the great quality. The bar packages were also fairly priced and the bartending staff were excellent! My new husband and I are so grateful to the hotel for all that they did and we look forward to celebrating our anniversaries back at the place that started it all!" - Sarah Olson

"We wanted to give you some very positive feedback on our event that was held at your hotel on August 4 and 5, 2012. We had our daughter's wedding at your hotel on August 4 and a brunch the morning of August 5. We were impressed with all of the staff from the moment that we arrived on August 3. Your bellmen at the front door handled an incredible amount of luggage in a short amount of time and had it delivered to the proper rooms. Your front desk handled the check in for all the rooms very quickly and efficiently,including handing out the welcome bags that we provided, and were able to accomodate the special requests that were made. All of that was even before our event began. On the day of the wedding, we were amazed at the energy and focus that Kristina brought to the wedding. She stayed on top of every detail prior to the beginning of the wedding. Then once things were underway, she stayed and took care of so many small details that all we had to do was relax and enjoy the event. Kristina ran up to the bridal suite and took my daughter's veil up there and then also got the guest book that had been left in that room. She fixed my daughter's hair and helped the DJ to stay on task. She did not leave until all the critical stages of the evening were over. She even had the curtesy to let us know she was leaving and asked if there was anything else that needed to be done or if we had any questions. She was fabulous! All that she did and her calming influence meant that we had a very wonderful day and enjoyed every moment of the wedding. She also had everything arranged for the brunch in the morning, so once again, we were able to enjoy a wonderful event with no stress. When it finally became time to leave the hotel, once again your staff did a great job in handling all the details of getting the bags from the rooms and down to the cars. The front desk staff again handled all the check outs with ease. It was a very pleasant way to end a special weekend. We have told many of our friends about how happy we were with how the Magnolia handled every detail. We believe that Kristina provided the leadership needed to make our event so wonderful.
