Magnolia Hotel Announces Heart Healthy Menu

Jan. 14, 2008 (HOUSTON)—A New Year is upon is, and what better time than now to start a healthy eating regimen. The Magnolia Hotel makes it easy with a heart healthy menu, consisting of six new menu items available for lunch in the Magnolia Club and room service.

The new menu additions include:

- Grilled asparagus chopped salad, served with pita croutons and citrus vinaigrette, $13.50
- Vegetable and shrimp lo’mein, $13.50
- Grilled eggplant and chickpea salad served with baked pita chips, $12.50
- Grilled tuna nicoise wrap served with tropical fruit cup, $12.50
- Chicken calypso salad served with baked pita chips, $12.50
- Fresh fruit salad with fat-free yogurt, $13.50

The Magnolia Club, located on the second floor of the hotel, offers stylish ambiance and comfortable seating, with a full-service bar and menu. Lunch is served to the public beginning at 11 a.m. Come for lunch, dinner, drinks, or dessert and enjoy the warm atmosphere of the Magnolia Club.

The beautiful Houston Magnolia Hotel opened in 2003 in Houston's most renowned downtown structure, the former Post Dispatch building.
